Radiometric detection is considered the gold standard for many applications, from drug discovery and development to plant sciences. 125I labeled compounds are useful in both basic research and drug discovery where they are used as tracers in radioimmunoassays (RIA) and ligands in binding studies. 125I is particularly versatile as it emits both gamma and Auger electrons. This means that can be it counted either directly, without requiring scintillation, or by using a liquid scintillation counter. We offer a wide range of 125I labeled compounds as well as customized services to label your unique compound.
